The call for entries of the 11th photography competition “Water in Images” is open until Monday 24 May 2021. Participants should represent in photos the relation between human beings and water, encouraging the reflection on society’s responsibility on its sustainable use.
The Faculty of Engineering and Water Sciences (FICH) of the National University of Litoral (UNL) and the newspaper El Litoral, with the sponsorship of Aguas Santafesinas SA, organise this activity under the umbrella of World Water Day and the Argentine National Water Day, established on 22 and 31 March respectively.
The competition is part of the activities promoted by the UNESCO Chair “Water and Education for Sustainable Development” and the Secretariat of Social and Cultural Extension of the UNL. It is open to the general public, with no age limit, and each participant may submit up to three unpublished photographs, addressing the theme “Let’s value water”, proposed this year by UNESCO to reflect on how the value we assign to water is key to its proper management and protection.
