Promoting the application of environmental water requirements in the management of transboundary river basins in Southern Africa, 4 – 7 July, Cape Town, South Africa

WaterNet in collaboration with the, Resilience in the Limpopo Program (RESILIM) and International Union for the Conservation of Nature hosted on Promoting the application of environmental water requirements in the management of transboundary river basins in Southern Africa, 4 – 7 July, Cape Town, South Africa. The major objective of the training was:

• To provide policy makers with information and understanding of the principles that underlie good practice in the determination of Environmental Flows in transboundary water governance.

Participants for the training were drawn from the Limpopo Basin. The are senior officials from public water sector institutions/organizations such as water utilities, river basin organizations, government departments and regulators.
