MyCDNet (Malaysian Capacity Development Network for Sustainable Water Management) will be hosting the National Forum 2017 on 24 – 25 October 2017 with the theme “Wastewater as a Resource: Opportunities & Capacity Development”.
The aim of the Forum is to share information and ideas on best practices in wastewater resources management, technology, usage and opportunities available for Malaysia, and to move ahead with capacity development in wastewater minimization and reuse as a resource.
The Forum will be officiated by the Honourable YB. Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili, Minister of the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology & Water (KeTTHA).
Keynote papers will be presented by the Malaysian Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water (KeTTHA) Dato’ Dr Tan Yew Chong, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ma’an Fahmi Rashid Al-Khatib from the International Islamic University of Malaysia, the Senior Manager of SWM Environment Sdn Bhd Mr. Ng Weng Mun, and the Chairperson of Aguajaring Mr. Jan T. L. Yap.
Date: 24-25 Oct 2017 (with a half-day site visit to Pantai 2 STP on 25 Oct)
Venue: Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam, Jalan Damansara, Bukit Kiara 60000 Kuala Lumpur.
Fee: RM 300 for non-members; RM 200 for members (incl. tea break, lunches and refreshments; optional transportation to Pantai 2 STP)
