International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
International Women’s Day (IWD) has occurred since 1911 supported by over a million people. Today, IWD belongs to all groups collectively everywhere. IWD is not country, group or organization specific.
In 2020 the theme describes the notion of ‘Collective Individualism.’ We are all parts of a whole. Creating a gender equal world is possible when we can each help to make it happen collectively. That means we can choose to be #EachforEqual.
An equal world is an enabled world. Cap-Net celebrates International Women’s Day by asking: how the water community can enable environments to create a gender equal world?
