The Argentine Association of Sanitary Engineering and Environmental Sciences (AIDIS) together with the Inter-American Association of Sanitary Engineering organised the XXXVII AIDIS Inter-American Congress of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, held from 12 to 15 April in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The theme of the congress was “Agenda 2030. Innovation and efficiency for sustainable development”, which expresses the need for addressing the different issues and challenges that governments, companies and civil society organisations face in order to achieve the sustainability of their actions towards the year 2030.
Arg Cap-Net sponsored this event and coordinated the round table: “Climate Change / Renewable Energies – Social Component”, on 13 and 14 April, with Mariana Romanatti and Mauro Epelbaum, members of the Network’s Secretariat.
The meeting focused o climate change, habitat and vulnerable cities; water and sanitation; circular economy and waste management; environment and renewable energies.
