Peri-urban water issues in India

Research activities on the theme of peri-urban water issues in India have been conducted by SaciWATERs (Cap-Net affiliated network), as a research partner in a consortium-based research project ‘H2O-T2S in Urban Fringe Areas’. The study has been led in partnership with the University of Cologne – Germany and Delft University of Technology (TUDelft) – Netherlands.

Arsenic and Arsenicosis Detection: Block level training of frontline workers in Bihar

SaciWATERs conducted a training program for the block level medical and paramedical practitioners on Prevention, Detection and Management of Arsenicosis in both Buxar and Bhagalpur districts, Bihar, India. The training lasted for 2 days in Bhagalpur (22-23 April 2019) and for the same duration in Buxar (27-28 April, 2019).
