(English, Spanish, pdf, Word) Aimed at decision-makers, professionals of various fields of knowledge, working in the field of the urban environment as administrators, legislators, engineers, architects, geologists, biologists and others. The book aims to present a comprehensive view of the management of urban rainwater, which will also include urban drainage and river flooding in cities. This text is broad and tackles a number of economic, social, environmental and climatic situations, it does not address all the issues of the topic, but it does show how to include innovative solutions based on fundamental principles of sustainable development. Application of IWRM in the Arab Region. This regional manual addresses priority development issues in the region to reach different groups of water stakeholders. It covers 16 modules addressing technical, socio-economic, institutional and legal dimensions of IWRM challenges in the region, in addition to a crosscutting module on gender and poverty alleviation within IWRM. Water Resources Assessment in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prediction in Ungauged Basins. The CD contains: - Reader on prediction of water resources in data scarce basins together with a list of freely available internet data sources - Stand-alone hydrology refresher course, Vicaire, which is accessible on internet (free) but also runs from the CD.
