Integrated Water Resources Management Plans

While targeted at the development of national IWRM plans this training material is also suitable for planning at basin and other levels. The approach uses a traditional planning cycle adapted to the concepts of IWRM. The manual is a useful reference beyond the training course and contains useful tips on how to ensure that the plan is useful and can be implemented within local constraints.

The training manual was produced by Cap-Net and GWP and written by Paul Taylor, Lewis Jonker, Emmanuel Donkor, Diana Guio, Ibrahima Mbodji, Charles Mlingi, Jan Hassing and Daniel Lopez. The training manual and supporting Powerpoints are available in English,  Espanol, and Pусский;  and can be downloaded below. However Francais and Portugues do not have the PowerPoints slides translated. We are willing to upload other language versions if you have translated the material. All materials (with additional reference documents in English) are available on CD.
