Cap-Net UNDP welcomes Mr. Andrew Chinyepe from Zimbabwe and Mr. Gode Bola Bosongo from DR Congo as the new network attachment. Andrew holds a Master Degree of Science in Integrated Water Resources Management from University of Zimbabwe funded by Water-Net and Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resources Management and Agriculture (Land and Water Resources Management) from Midlands State University. Currently Andrew is about to complete his Post Graduate Diploma in Water Supplies and Sanitation with Institute of Water and Sanitation Development (IWSD).At the same time Andrew works as Research Scientist and consultant for Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Centre (SIRDC) in Zimbabwe. Prior to that, Andrew joined SIRDC in 2007 as a Research Associate. Andrew will join Cap-Net secretariat for 3 months and will involve in monitoring, evaluating, and learning plan (MELP) outcomes and impacts of training programmes by Cap-Net affiliated networks. He is also keen to know how can water networks be reached out to the most disadvantaged societies in their regions. Besides water, Andrew also enjoys travelling and networking. Mr. Gode is an active member of CB HydroNet. He is a Bachelor’s Degree Holder in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from the University of Kinshasa and have recently graduated in Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) at Masters Level at the University of Zimbabwe. Currently, Gode is working in the Research Center of Atomic Energy in Kinshasa and training students in hydrometric measurement. He has also been part of a research team on integrating social and natural systems in enhancing environmental sustainability in the Middle Zambezi Valley in Zimbabwe. Gode will join Cap-Net secretariat for 6 weeks. He will be spending time on studying about the network approach in capacity development and knowledge management with specific assignment on developing leadership, communication, facilitation, alliance building, work planning, accountability and reporting skills.
