Cambodia National Training Workshop: IWRM Awareness and Planning


To implement the relevant law and regulations on water-related resource management in the Kingdom of Cambodia, capacity of government staff is required to understand the IWRM concepts, while the Law on Water Management in Cambodia (2007) encourages the application of Integrated Water Resources Management as the holistic approach for sustainable management and development of water and related resources in the country.

The expected programme will build on the developing Water Operators Partnership managed by UN-HABITAT and the capacity building experience of Cap-Net and its partner networks.
